LIGHTING DESIGN
Lighting design is the art of projecting artificial
light sources and light systems (artificial or mixed
artificial-natural) for domestic or urban aims. It is an
industrial design's range ever evolving thanks to
continuous technological changes and to continuous research
concerning this sector.
Lighting design originated in the industrial and working
fields following the first working place's studies;
nowadays it concerns also urban lighting studies which are
very useful for social security and electric use
containment. Nowadays lighting devices industrial
production includes lots of products addressed to all kinds
of need and for all kinds of setting (for example
underwater and extreme high or low temperature) and we can
find always more and more computerized artificial lighting
applications.
